Our Staff
Wallace Appraisal Services Ltd. is an independent fee appraisal service.The company is based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and has been active since May 1993. It is privately owned and is not affiliated with outside companies or financial institutions. We complete property appraisals for a wide range of customers and also provide other services such as progress inspections, consulting, court testimony or other studies related to real estate.
We have a full-time appraisal staff that are members of the Appraisal Institute of Canada, carry professional practice insurance, and are licensed with the Real Estate Council of Real Estate Council of Alberta.
As of May 2019, we have changed to our business to a mobile format and no longer maintain a traditional office.

James F. (Jim) Wallace

After 42 years, Jim is no longer completing appraisals and will continue work with the Calgary Assessment Review Board.
Jean Marc (J.M.) Raymond
CRA, P.App (Retired)
After more than 30 years of appraising residential properties in Calgary and surrounding regions in southern Alberta, J.M. has retired from the appraisal profession. His existing clients may contact Simon Cormier for assistance with their appraisal matters.
Simon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus in geography and he obtained a post degree diploma specializing in geographic information systems (GIS). He became a member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada in 2007 and holds a CRA designation. Simon has been with Wallace Appraisal Services since 2009 and completes appraisals on all types of residential properties in Calgary and surrounding regions. Simon and the family live in the southeast community of Chapparal Valley.
