Fees and Payment

We have a number of convenient options to pay for appraisal services.

Payment

We accept both cash or cheques and our staff all carry smart-phones with installed payment apps and credit card readers. We process payments on site using the facilities of Square Inc. We can accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards, as well as Interac payments. Receipts will be sent to you immediately by email or text message.

For customers without established accounts, you will be asked for payment at the time of the inspection of your property. For our customers that are invoiced, you may call our office with your credit card information, you can send money using Interac transfers, and for Royal Bank clients you can make direct transfers to our account. Please call us for the required information for these payment options.

Wallace Appraisal Services is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients. When you pay for your appraisal report with a credit card, we do not see your financial information and do not retain any information with our company.

Fees

What does an appraisal cost? Our fees are based on a number factors including the price range and location of the property, the anticipated inspection and travelling times, the intended use of the report, and the expected complexity and research time that will be involved. . As a rough guideline, most single family homes under $1,000,000 would have fees between $400.00 and $500.00 + tax. (Our current minimum fee for any residential property is $400.00) Our fees for country residential acreage reports begin at $550.00 + tax.
